I have three Royal Classic canister vacuums. Two are 4650 models, the other is a 4700 (I think).

What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Bought my first Royal classic 4650 new. Fell in love with it after having a Hoover upright and a Rainbow. I bought the other two used from a vacuum store and e-bay.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes - replaced the motor on the brush and am trying to replace the motor on my old 4650. I have it torn apart but I can't get the motor out of the canister.
