    Felix Pet Exhaust Filter

So the other day I tried buying another F9 filter. Found one on ebay and snapped it up. Asked Sebo UK about the availability of the F9 filter as it's no longer on their site to purchase and it seems it's been discontinued. Shame! Here's their email:

    3D Printed Parts!

I've been 3D printing things for about 3 or so years. One of the difficulties in reproducing parts is that you either need a part to scan / use photogammetry to get the original item into the computer. That file would then need editing before it could then be printed. Either that, or an object...

Sebo Felix shoulder strap - 3D printed

I've had a Sebo Felix for around 6 months now. Brilliant machine! I noticed there was a shoulder strap shown on accessories lists on the Sebo Germany & Sebo USA websites but not Sebo UK. I did find the accessory part 7158 on Amazon but it sells for £35! So... I figured I could sketch out and...

    Felix Pet Exhaust Filter

I have the 7095ER26 filter in front of me and the barcode is 6 76224 07095 4 UPC printed on the box and 4 012615 000166 barcode sticker that Sebo have stuck on the box. This is the F9 pet filter I've just ordered from Sebo UK. Yours looks like it might be a standard non-F9 filter.

    So I did a Thing...

I've just purchased a Sebo Felix Pet & I'm really happy with it so far. I've used an Automatic X4 before but the automatic height adjustment doesn't dig in deep enough when on a thick pile carpet for my liking. The Felix, having manual height adjustment, does a really good job at deep brushroll...

It Beats, As it Sweeps, as it Cleans (Song)

Found it.. There was a documentary on the BBC in the 90's which had an old ex Hoover UK salesman play the said song: 5min.41sec in The narrator talks over some of it alas, but it'll give you a good idea what it sounds like. THe whole programme was quite good, remember seeing it on BBC2 way back!

Here's a pic of my belt cover from my 119. Hopefully that's clear enough to replicate.

    Vacuuming up wasps, bees etc.

Flies I find a Henry is excellent at sucking up flies in the summer. If one flies into the kitchen, they tend to land on the blinds in the window. Swatting a fly is nigh on impossible when it's landed, so I creep up on them slowly with the Henry, crevice tool on the hose and switched off. Once...

vacuum cleaners in films movies 2

There was a cylinder used to vacuum up the little alien in the film Mac & Me. It was a terrible 80s ET rip off with more product placement than you could shake a stick at. Being an American vacuum, I don't recognise it. There's also a Henry to be seen in One Foot in the Grave: @ 8min.53sec...

    New eco vacuums

In Blighty.... Our 13 Amp plug and socket system allows a load of up to 3120 watts to be pulled by an appliance (assuming 240v). Technically speaking we are on 230v (+10%/-6% tollerance fudge factor) because of harmonisation legislation rubbish from Europe, but as most substations are old, you...

    Reusing Sebo Active Charcoal filters

We haven't tried the new synthetic bags yet. Still on the old paper ones. If John Lewis stick them on promotion, she might pick them up.

    Reusing Sebo Active Charcoal filters

Secure the white sock in place with a cable tie and it's all done. So far the filter doesn't smell and the performance of the machine is the same as a new filter and new paper bag. Hopefully I can get at least two refills for every filter which should keep the costs down. I've also found that...

    Reusing Sebo Active Charcoal filters

Once empty, new activated carbon granules can be carefully poured into the tube. I found spooning it in with an old table spoon helped, tapping the tube every spoonful to get the carbon granules down to the bottom. Once the tube is full, replace the grey cap and slide the washed (and dried)...
