I work as a property mgr. I like the old metal base machines,they work better, & hold up.I use them in my work,to clean apt buildings.The Hoover 115 works especially well on the older stair carpeting.

1963 Kenmore upright two speed aerodyne design,Hoover 1957 anniversary/white/gold/early 1950s Westinghouse upright.

Aunt Dorothys pink 1957 Hoover convertible#65,& her 1950 Kenmore Kenkart.Grandmothers Hoover 29. Mothers 1947 Kenmore upright-still have.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Mostly older Hoovers, & Kenmores,Kirby uprights-for cleaning up after the tenants move.
