RCA Whirlpool Cannister Vacuum with one of the first powerbeads made

Lewt Canister vacuum with one of the first powerheads made (the one they were sued for)

Model A or B Rexair Rainbow 1930s or 1940s vacuum
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Using my mothers Kirby vacuum, my grandmothers Kirby, and embarrassing my parents as a young kid asking to vacuum their friends carpets cause I wanted to see what kind of vacuum they owned.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
My parents always thought it was weird to obsess and be infatuated with vacuum cleaners as a young child, so discouraged it. When I was 21 yo, and started to make my own money, I started to purchase and collect all of the vacuums I never was allowed to as a child, often buying them new using them for 6 months, and those I didnt like or didnt interest me further were given to relatives, or past people I dated, or sold on eBay to make room for the latest and greatest new model.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes, I started to do this as a hobby….my first experience was my Great Grandmothers 1940’s Electrolux XXX, and now I regularly peruse thrift stores and Facebook Marketplace for new treasures to work on. I have also started making my own vacuum attachments for my Rainbow vacuums and have modified a dyson motorized floor buffing tool to work with any of my vacuum collection using a rechargeable battery handle grip that can power powernozzles or dc powered powerheads…..handle grip accepts hose connection from any of my vacuums….is my greatest accomplishment so far…..have also modified a Bissell Crosswave floor washer (AC Current version) to work with my rainbow vacuums (took out the motor and use the power of the rainbow suction and the crosswave motorized floor brush to clean and scrub my floors and tile.
