Thank you for your help. I still don't know exactly what I have here but if anyone is interested in trading for a newer model I think I would rather have it than this one. I think it's too old to actually use. Plus I don't have a cord for it.

According to the link model xii was brown or redish leatherette. Mine is blue and I don't know if it is considered leathette or not, because it does not look like the photos. Mine is more of a herringbone pattern in blue. Is there someone who I can talk to that is an expert on early Electrolux...
