    Micro Lined Bags

I use them regularly..... and really like Micro-lined bags. I'll typically prefer them actually unless I can get a bag that claims to be HEPA, then I'll go with it. I use them in uprights and canisters and have found them to be quite good, especially for the price. Good luck!

I just don't like bagless vacuums.....

I might try a Dyson when they..... when they come out on the used market at $100 or less. Probably much less knowing me. till then though, the bags are real easy to deal with. I can't figure out why they've gone into dis-favor with most people. But its putting a lot of good bag vacs in Goodwill...

I just don't like bagless vacuums.....

A couple of years ago I bought my daughter a re-furbished Bissell bagless upright from Big Lot's for about $40. It's a bagless design but has about 5 filters total in it. Well, when these filters get clogged up over time, they have to be cleaned. Its a retty disgusting job I might add and it...

    elux super j

that is a nice vac..... I just got a lux J off of CL for $10 this past week. I'm going to have to take some photo's and post them. Mine isn't as nice as yours is though. I grew up using one, one made in the 1950's, and always wanted one of my own. My mom still has hers, it works great, now I...

    New Canister Needed

here is another idea..... I just picked-up a nice Electrolux canister model, made in about the 1986 time-frame, for $10 off of Craigslist last week. Its in real nice condition although there is tape on the metal wand that goes to the rug sweeper and I'm sure it to secure the wires that run the...

If I was in Philadelphia right now I think I'd go by and pick this one up. It looks fairly nice, and is a darn good price. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/hsh/902241200.html

    I want a rainbow

one came up on CL..... a Rainbow came up on Craigslist near me a couple of days ago. It was $40. Normally, I would have gone out to look at it but my wife is watching me real closely - I've been instructed no more vacuums or washers for a while. Like, get real !!!

    I want a rainbow

keep looking in Craigslist in your general area..... I've seen them several times within, say, a 3 or 4 hour drive of me. Its rare that a good one will go for $50 though, usually they're a little more. Also check all your thrift stores in your area, eventually one is likely to show up there...

Kirby Vacuette handheld vacuum, just got one and some questions.....

its the same..... several people seem to be selling this exact same vac. And it might be even cheaper to get the belts and stuff from Sears.

Kirby Vacuette handheld vacuum, just got one and some questions.....

There is one that Sears provides, a Craftsman, that is the same as this one. I think the Craftsman bag also works on the Kirby and vice-versa. This Vac is made in the USA though.
