I love Electrolux vacuums. I have two Super Js in excellent condition and a model AF that is in near mint condition. All have awesome suction. As well, I have lots of extra dusting brush/upholstery nozzles and crevice tools, if anyone needs extras. I also have a new Nilfisk GD 930 with amazing suction.

What are your dream machines yet to be found?

A mint Electrolux Model G

What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?

I remember around age 7 or 8 spending the night at a friend's house and helping him vacuum his room with a Hoover canister. His mom wrapped the ribbed hose around my neck to carry up to his room and I loved it. I also remember dumping a lot of my plastic model car parts on our basement floor and sucking them up in our Model G. The sounds of those plastic pieces clattering up the wands was so cool!

What is the history of vacuum you have owned?

My first vac: a reconditioned Model G. Then a kenmore that I soon gave away. Then a Lux Diamond Jubilee. Couldn't stand the plastic smell that never went away so I sold it. Bought a Miele, but the motor knocked out within a year, so I replaced the motor and sold it. Various used Electroluxes (Super J's and Olympias and one CB passed through my hands.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?

Minor repairs - I'm no mechanic.
