    Electrolux 1205 Check Bag Light not working

    Bikerray-- That fixed it! At some point it was bypassed, not sure as to why besides switch was burnt. Tha black wire from the insulator and red wire were tied together. Put them in the right positions on switch and good to go again! Thank you!!

    It’s an early 1205. I’d call it a slide switch. The switch does have three legs on it. However on the old one, it just had the one wire on it. The red wire from the canister body is tied together to a black wire in the door. Thinking that may not be correct, but not sure. Other than the...

    I know that. But the wiring thats in there currently doesn't have any extra wire that came off the switch. I think something was bypassed at some point in time. Just don't want to hookup wires and burn out something. Thats why I'm asking for a wiring diagram.

    The check bag light and shutoff is not working on my early Electrolux 1205. I have taken it apart, there is one wire only going to the switch. The switch is melted, so I got a new one.
