Looking for the motor casing for an Electrolux Guardian Encore C134B

I'm actually up in Bartlesville! I looked on the dealer search on the Aerus website, and it said the nearest was in Bethany! Thank you for the tip!

Looking for the motor casing for an Electrolux Guardian Encore C134B

Fixing up my mother's Electrolux, took it apart, and lo and behold, the black housing around the motor had a bunch of little cracks in it. Looked around on eBay and the like, and couldn't find one. Figured I'd check if someone on here has a spare they'd be willing to part with. My nearest Aerus...

    Some kids get it.

I am a Cade! Quite literally, that's my name... I'm another one who has had this hobby since I was very young, pretty much since I could walk. The first vacuum I remember being fascinated by is my great-grandmother's TriStar DXL. Yes, I said IS...she's 93 now, I'm 16, and she still uses it...

Does anyone know anything about these?

@compuvac Oh trust me, I never would——just got thinking about possibilities. Wet rated or not, you can always modify a machine. That doesn't mean you should though. We all know curiosity killed the cat!

I don't see this ending well

That upright looks like a cordless Oreck Elevate.

    Craftsman vacuum filters

I believe you are correct. Shop-vac brand filters should fit. Providesd it attaches by a large plastic screw plate, it should fit.

Does anyone know anything about these?

You probably could Doesn't look that hard to turn an HF6 into a WF6, as long as you have a 3d printer... I doubt you could find any parts for this machine anywhere, outside of maybe a thrift store in Europe, or calling Lindhaus directly. I think older HF6's had the same pre motor filter setup...

    Electrolux Diplomat 1677 Low Suction

Can you shine a flashlight through the PN elbow? If not you probably have a clog. Take something long and dull and push it through the opening and see if anything comes out. Does the wand end have good suction as well? Electrolux PN's are super easy to take apart, just a few screws and you're...

Does anyone know anything about these?

I came across a picture online of this weird, water filter Lindhaus HF6, called the WF6. Has anyone ever come across one of these? If so, how well do they work? There's only two pictures I could find, so it must be pretty rare.

    Replicating The Amway Cleartrak

They wouldn't need to The Amway Cleartrak is currently produced in Michigan by a company known as WMJ Refurbish as the Workhorse Cyclonic. They even use all of the same tooling Amway used to! Here's the website for the Workhorse: https://cleartrak.com/

    Has Miele changed hands?

That's interesting I've heard that from a lot of dealers who only sell their vacuums, in fact, the only people I've heard say good things about working with Miele are those who sell their major appliances as well. I've noticed kind of a trend Miele has, where they make massive innovation but...

    Has Miele changed hands?

No, they haven't changed hands... They are still jointly owned by the Miele and Zinkann families, as they have been for the last 123 years. Though, quality has seemed to falter in newer machines. Miele has been making vacuums in China for decades and they've been superb, so I'm not too...

    $25,000 Hoover

Pretty cool, Still ludicrous, provided it isn't a scam... I just want to know how they think it'll ever sell, real or not...

I am now the proud owner of all 5 of my grandparents’ Electroluxes!

A dream come true! Proving the dependability of an old "Lux"! My Great-grandmother's Olympia is still going strong! Keep them maintained and you should have another 10-20 good years with them. Which one do you think cleans best?
