Has anyone else heard about the new Riccar R27 yet. Apparently the R25 is going away. The R27 will basically the same machine, but in a different color and only two models. Production will be shifted from China to Vietnam. I actually talked to a Tacony rep on Saturday in a local vac store.

Interesting find @ huskyvacs Yep what you said would be fun. Log on to Alibaba and look around at the vacs for sale. There are even more to see including what seem to be knock off Miele's and Kenmores. Some don't require quantity purchasing ; but don't always have shipping specified.

Kenmore Elite uprights It is my understanding that there is a direct drive model and a standard model without the drive system. I really can't tell from the images. Personally, I think I would prefer the standard model. It may be worth looking in to.
