What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I'd like to add a Royal upright and hand vac. Got them now.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Our old GE AV? with the clamp on the dump bag. Mom finished spring cleaning, was wrapping up with vacuuming. She had dumped the bag, clip wasn't on right, blew off and emptied the remaining contents of the bag all over the freshly cleaned living room.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Non working Kirby 509 I restored was traded for an Atlas tank cleaner. One of the Sanitronics was a gift I got for my Mom years ago, inherited it on her passing. Eureka, GE & Hoover were flea market finds. Universal was found in an abandoned building schedule for demo.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes- used to get parts from Green Vac in Ohio. Miss that place, they had OLD stuff! 509 Kirby is self restored, have repaired a fair share for friends, etc.
