I have a vintage Rainbow Vac that still performs well.
I did have a vintage Kenmore Aurora floor scrubber, but it flooded in hurricane Harvey a few years ago. Sad day. I still have the original owners manual and the brushes and polishing pads, though I will be letting those go soon.
I also have a Kenmore newer vac (20 years), but I cannot remember which model.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I'd love to find another working Aurora scrubber, but I am not very hopeful that will be possible.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
The Hoover round pink canister vacuum was what I grew up with. Great little machine and so cute!
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I have really only owned a few. I purchased my rainbow vacuum when I was in college, due to terrible allergies. It has served me well. The Aurora floor cleaner was my mothers. I also have a stick vacuum for quick jobs.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
No. Only changed out bags, cleaned hair out of beater bars, and did regular clean out of the Rainbow parts.
