What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Probably a coffee can Hoover some day, no hurry.I'd really like to own an early -mid-50's Fridgedaire Washer, but I know that won't happen in my life time. All snapped up.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
I took over the maintenance of upkeep on any vacuum cleaners my parent's had as I was growing up, belts, bags, lights and carbon brushes!Polishing with dad's car wax and buffer.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
One of the electroluxes was purchased new by my great grandparents. I'm 4th generation to own. Have owned the longest over the last 3 gens.Same with other appliances, Sunbeam,Toastmaster,Presto, etc.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I was invited to bring and show my collection on a television station locally, but declined after seeing some of the collections here on V-land as I was humbled by the quality, mine have a way to go !
