Hello, I have a Eureka 2 speed self propelled ESP 5071D. I'm certainly in ned of an upper cord hook with bag spins holder, and also a whole new transmission. Tranny squals when motor is turned on. If I can't find parts, I'll part the machine out. Really want to make it work. Thanks, -Jay

Eureka/Sanitaire As nice as they clean, I can't stand them. Bulky, loud, cheap plastic parts, The self propelled models have transmissions that wear out, and scream like a banshee overtime you turn them on.

Price for middle of the line How much was the middle of the line?

Hello all, long time no see. I'd like to know how do you figure out a Kirby serial number on a pre 1970's Kirby? I know there was a way to figure out a 1970's and later, but really no way of figuring out anything older. All help would be appreciated. -Jay

G4 I don't think the G4 really took off, however I have one that I do use. They really aren't that bad actually. -jay

But What 500/Sanitronic model? How do I remove the oxidation off the metal plate on the underside?
