I don't think Kirby's are all that heavy. Comparing my Dual 80 and my wife's Dyson. When I pick them both up at the same time, they feel the same in weight.

Finally got my Dual 80 I've been wanting! Haven't had much time to play with it yet, but it sure looks good next to my Sanitronic 7! Everything works on it, has a new bag, new Kirby cord, and most all of the attachments came with it. Can't wait to try them out!

I have a Sanitronic 7 which I love, but, the Dual 80 is probably my favorite. Green is my favorite color and I love that it has the distinction of being the only Kirby model that was green! Anyway, here are a few pics of my 7, when I got it, you could see how oxidized and crude the aluminum was.
