Current Vacuum collection: Kirby Generation 3 to Sentria 2. Mostly G-4 and G-5

What are your dream machines yet to be found?: A Golden Trophy (Generation Series) and I need a Avalir 100th Anniversary Edition. And a Avlair 2 and a Avalir Platinum. And another DS 80

What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?: At around age six I would go to all the vacuum stores on a Saturday and for my entire life I wanted to work in the business and in 2010 that came true. I remember in the First grade I would hang out with the school janitors and they let me vacuum with a Panasonic Jet-Flo and in the 4th grade I got to play with a NSS Pig.

What is the history of vacuum you have owned?: I’ll say I got my Sentria 2 for 40.00 and that’s currently the nicest and newer Kirby that I have.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?: In 2006 I started collecting Kirby’s at that time I paid to have some vintage Kirby’s restored and polished. I had a 515 and a D-80 fully restored at Everett Vacuum. Then in 2010 I became Kirby factory certified as a technician at the local Distributor’s Store. I started accumulating Kirby’s on a weekly basis. After I learned Kirby in and out I could fix broken ones and I’ve restored my G3,G4 G5 a UG and a UG diamond. I had a 12x30 storage unit with about 30 Kirby’s that I lost after an accident. Since 2020 I had to restart my collection. I only have about 10 right now. Glad to be back in the Club again.
