    I guess I should add i installed a new vacuum belt, and the brush roller is still good on the first setting.

    Sure. Thank you. So far, polished. Decent but not great. Cleaned, bag laundered. New belt lift hook (old one had rust on it), new fan. Checked motor brushes, they where almost new. Then new bracket cam assembly. Wasn't fully disengaging transmission when in neutral. After new bracket installed...
