What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
My parents have photos of me using the Vacuum cleaner from the edges of my play pen when I was really young.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I was given my Discovery II when I was 12 or 13, only ever used it as a secondary machine and almost scrapped it. When I get it out of my parents storage I plan on giving it a tune up. Other machines Ive owned were a Hoover Bagless Stick Vac which I gave away. I also had a Durabrand Bagless canister which I ran until an internal connection failed and I couldnt open the machine due to not having the right tools. My Oreck XL upright was scrapped when I couldnt get a replacement nylon fan to fit after breaking the aluminum one that it came with.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes, I consider Serviceability key. Ive had some difficulty with some parts causing my to scrap a machine before though.
