My collection reduced in size somewhat when I got married 13 years ago, as I no longer had the space to keep them all. It now comprises of my Model 750 and 800, with 370 and 375 juniors, with various other UK models up to the early 1980's junior and senior/ranger models.
My favourite machines being my 912, 912A, U7008 and 1354A, and U4014 ranger.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Early model 912 with long handle grip, and a UK Convertible/Dialamatic. :D
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
My earliest memories are of my grandparents Electrolux model 65, and Hoover Junior 1354A, and the neighbours U4014 ranger (which I now have in my collection and is the only machine I know the full history of from purchase).
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I have had many many Juniors over time, and wish I had space to have kept them all, not so many seniors, and I have most of the Seniors still in the collection.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Always working on machines, to repair for family, friends etc. I am about to embark on a full restoration of my 912 and U7008, ground up to factory fresh I hope when done.
