Hi Andy... Bob still hasn't been able to get me any photos but he says it's not a 704. He also told me that the motor bearings are close to shot and the bag has a couple torn snaps. I'll know more for sure if I can get the pics. I'll see if I can get in touch with Chris in the meantime...

Yeah, I saw that one. It's been repainted. Had hoped to find an original but apparently no one wants to part with theirs, if they even have one. I was prepared to pay dearly for one but probably won't happen. Time to move on to the next one on the "wish list".

She's a Dandy I'll try to post some pictures of it. It's a really nice machine, original bag is even in nice shape. I also have the original tools in the original Hoover caddy. I'd happily trade it though if I could just manage to find a 28, 26 or a 704 convertible. I'd put cash with it too!!
