    Oreck avcuum head as a power-nozzel?

    It will, but it needs to be a Oreck with a straight handle, so you have 30 foot of cord to work with. The models with the switch in the handle, have a cord that runs to the motor. In that case you won't have hardly any cord to work with. Good luck.

    Never underestimate the power of an Elite!

    I've had similar experiences with Elites. Careless owners pick up something to large and shatter a fan or fancase, it gets loud so they throw it out. Or the fan gets stuck from a object to big to pass through it. Once a new fan is installed or the object gets removed, it's almost always alright...
