I think I have just obtained it, found an Aerus Lux Legacy virtually unused at a Habitat for Humanity thrift store
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Pushing around the Electrolux combination rug and floor tool with one short wand attached to adapt to my toddler height! My Grandmother yelling at the Electrolux man when he dumped a bag of dirt on her pristine upholstered formal living room chair and telling him to clean up that mess and he did with the power nozzle. Another Electrolux salesman selling my Mother her model L after we got new yellow carpeting she called him to get a new one with the power nozzle. I sat on the stairs watching while he trained her on it all.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Oh my, too many to mention. Mostly Electrolux...almost every Model Electrolux metal body canister except model R, model AE, Model LXI, and pre model XXX models. several Regina electrikbrooms, a Kirby, a few Kenmore canisters, several bagged Hoover uprights and convertibles, Eureka canister and uprights, both vintage and recent, a Shetland stick vac, Hoover quick broom, eureka stick vac.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes, many...almost all of the. This is what started it all, my Father would pick up vacuums from peoples trash to see what was wrong with them and then we ended up with quite a collection.
