    Rebristling brush rollers

That's nice to hear that method will work then! Yes will take some figuring out as to bristle length. I'm planning on using a decent quality dusting brush from a numatic, and harvest the bristles from that. The fibres look similar to what the really old Kirby's have in the brush rolls. Will...

    Handi Butler help...

Tom, I should have warned you the belts get eaten up fast when polishing. Try not to let the polishing mop slow down to much or stop. As this causes the belt to slip Give it plenty of breaks, so it can cool down. I bet they are the original belts. I need to find an alternative belt as I use...

    Rebristling brush rollers

I'm looking at doing some of my really old kirby brush rolls. From what I can see the bristles are held in with a U shaped piece of thick wire/ metal in holes in the wooden brush roll. If I can pull them out, then I can re-bristle them easy enough. Placing new bristle between the prongs of the...

    Another 240v Kirby Classic III

I was thinking of getting that just for the metal fan in it and a few other parts. Classic III's do come up often, you are probably better off keeping a watch out for a better one. I've got 5 Classic III's at present lol. That one is so corroded it would be a nightmare to try and polish up.

Kirby classic III in the UK???

Hi, I am lucky enough to have a really nice 240V Classic Omega. I bought it from a local distributor who had it on display, so it hasn't seen much use. I've only seen a few others for sale in the UK.

    VAX 111 FOR SALE

They've linked to my YouTube video's in that listing. Wish I could get this for the manual haha! It is very nice example, shame they didn't include postage, as it would sell better.

A Question for You British Kirby Owners

Safety switch on my Classic Omega, as it's at the top of the pile, has the part number 134374. It has terminal holes for 4 wires. I have a Tradition motor here, the field coil is part number 950173. The armature from the motor has part number 114973, 120V. These are stamped into the cooling...
