Selling my 562 with original bag, cord, and hose. I live in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities but would be willing to deliver. Don't really want to sell but i am in need of cash. First 60 bucks takes it.

BUMP. it has the original white cord with sirocco ends and original brown bag with kirby circles.

What is it worth? Don't really want to get rid of it but i'm in a pinch.

Just replaced bearings and brushes on my 562 and now the vac runs real slow. What did i do wrong? Safety switch?

I know how to change the bearings on the Classic to current but how in the world do i even get to it on a model 562? Thanks, Isaiah

Should of known... put a new safety switch on and still nothing. turns out one of the carbon brushes was completely worn, put a new one in and now it purs like a kitten!

took my Kirby apart yesterday to put in a new bearing and now it wont start up again. Could it be the safety switch?

Ben i've got a locking tool i got off of ebay but honestly i have no clue how it works or where i'm supposed to place it.

the pin that holds the fan on won't budge. anyone have any tips or tricks for an easy removal?

hello all. i just acquired a ds50 with a cracked fan and was wondering if the lexan fans are as good as the metal. i would love to get an original metal fan for it but it doesn't look like an easy find.
