My mom had an old mixer, but cannot remember the brand. Her orange hairdryer, idem.
Bought a croque mmonsieur/waffle iron from the 80s (I guess), looking forward to pick it up
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
As a super young toddler( i have freakish memory) being mesmerised by the movement and agility of my mom's pastel pink hoover.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Euhm sad to say she threw it out. Never owned vintage gear, and trashed quite a few, unintentionally of course. Renovated almost 3 houses completely.
Now i just accidentally stumbled upon a not so old Hoover while looking for furniture for my daughter's college room.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Fixed mine on many occasions. Mostly theobvious 'too big a brick to suck and getting jammed', but also, replacing stuff on an Rowenta industrual one.
