Did anyone know about a Turbolite II

We only had the Turbolite in the Uk - based on the Elite. I believe Australian Hoover launched the Turbolite 2, based on the direct air Elite.

Retrofitting an old Vac to be bagleas.

I did a quick experiment today with a Hoover Turbopower Junior and a cyclone from a DC34. I fixed the input of the cyclone to the output from the Bag Fill Tube - which was almost an exact fit! Some tape, and it was ready to go. Switched on, put down a mini bag of filth.. and started vacuuming...

Retrofitting an old Vac to be bagleas.

Forgive this indulgence. We all know Dyson invented his first cyclonic machine by putting a cardboard cyclone on a Hoover Junior. How easy would it be to retrofit a Turbopower or Junior to be bagless? I've had two ideas: 1) fix a permabag 2 - the h18 fill hole should be the same size as the h4...

    Hoover Junior U1650 -

Opening up the box it looked in good nick - lower cord hook intact, no deep scratches or smashed parts, and the bag was whole. However, the cap on the top of the handle was missing. Starting the disassembly, I dismantled the bag - which looked like it had been used without a paper bag as it was...

    Hoover Junior U1650 -

Well its all up and running now! After been in the market for a classic machine for ages, having become disillusioned with our trusty 10year old DC18, I got browsing online and found a red Hoover Turbopower Junior on Schpock. £10 later I had the machine. It came through the post, and I got home...

    Hoover Junior U1650 -

Panic over! Somehow I managed to figure out how to disassemble this beauty from various posts on here -especially Beko1987's restorations! Still awaiting bags, but she runs fine - and the exhaust from the fill tube almost knocked the air out of me - so strong! Will post pics when the bags are...

    Hoover Junior U1650 -

Hi Everyone, I've been a long-time lurker, and have finally picked up a vintage(ish) machine - a last generation Hoover Junior U1650. It needs a bit of work, new belt and brushes, and a good clean out, but its in good nick and stands upright still! Is there anywhere I can get the original late...
