My parents bought a heritage II in 1987.loved that thing it looked so cool.

Kirby, oreck, bissell, hoover, eureka, shark, Miele.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?

Yes a Kirby tradition... Installed a zipper into the shake out bag and put a type f bag holder and fill tube in it for hepa filtration.
