1958/59 Lewyt model 130. Pink and charcoal gray, like we had when I was a kid.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Moms gray and pink Lewyt and her blue Bissell Sweep Master Deluxe electric broom.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
-Moms 1971 Hoover Convertible upright (tan w/lime green motor housing) handed down to me in late 80s, donated to Goodwill in late 90s.
-1986 Hoover Quik Broom (Went to Goodwill with the Hoover Convertible).
-Grandmothers red mid-70s Eureka Princess canister Handed down to me in late 90s, step-daughter killed it sucking up dry cat food in 2002.
-Eureka upright (dumpster find in mid-90s, missing bottom plate) Donated to charity.
-Douglas ATV wet/dry shop vac (emergency purchase in mid 90s, donated to church)
-Burgundy Kenmore Progressive canister, bought new in 2002. Only new vacuum Ive ever owned. Plastic POS. Worst waste of $375 ever (left it with the ex when I left her and I dont miss either of them).
-Blue 1969 Electrolux 1205 canister w/PN1 (Thrift shop find, still own it, despite a former girlfriends best efforts to give it away)
-Dark green Dirt Devil (dumpster find, mid-2000s, sold at yard sale)
-Powder blue Dirt Devil Featherlight (dumpster find in 2012, fixed it up and gave it away)

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Not professionally, but I have rejuvenated a few dumpster, thrift shop, and eBay finds in my time. Im handy with tools and like fixing things.
