Thank to all of you for your help.
It was the carbon brushes indeed. I already replaced them and my Kirby works like new.
Big thanks!!!
Best regards from Belgium
Hi, Good afternoon
I have a Kirby Heritage II that I purchased on ebay.
It is an american Kirby that uses american (110-120v) to work.
I live in Europe and the voltage here is 220-240v
So I bought a transformer to convert the voltage from 220v to 120v and the vacuum worked fine for many...
Thank you for your promt reply!
I saw the qaudraflex power nozzle on ebay while I was looking for the celebrity IV.
I'll wait for any original one that may appear on ebay in the future.
Once again, Thank you!
Dave
I purchased a Hoover Celebrity IV Elite (blue) out of ebay however it was sold to me without the hose nor with any attachments.
My question is, will the hose of my Hoover S4080 fit in the Celebrity IV?
Or any of you have a spare hose+wand+floor nozzle that could sell it to me?
Best regards...
According to some collectors that have the same vacuum as I do, this model had a power nozzle as an extra. It is a non flexible hose and on the other side of the vacuum there is a "socket" where the power cord of the power nozzle could be plugged.
However, I havent seen any on sale, anywhere...
I have purchased recently a Hoover S 4080 Electronic 1000 made in Great Britain. However, I would like to have the power nozzle. The UK made vacuum had the power nozzle but as an extra. It wasn't included in the "package".
Any one has one to sell or know where I can get one?
