Americans love their headlights, I just feel it is a rather pointless and gimmicky feature, it does not help you see better, who vacuums in the dark? Half the time a headlight is either not bright enough or doesn't even shine on the floor when the machine laid further back to the reclined...

Well, what I guess I mean is, most look displeasing to the eye I suppose, like on many, nothing looks flush and well designed, just looks stook on as an after thought, lots of sticky out parts making the machine bulky. I think American cleaners tend to be very good machines, just over sized...

Just compare almost any vacuum of the upright variety to a British or European upright, you will see what I mean, I do know of American vacs and have used many myself and own a number of American machine. My question wasn't supposed to be insulting but rather curious, and it goes without saying...

Tgmhe Miele S7 would no doubt be too big and clunky in an American home, even though I had a large space, I still wouldn't want something heavy and cumbersome, although, Americans seem to think if it is bigger, heavier and louder, then it is better. Not true and rather the oposite.

😉 It is pretty easy to stear but rather difficult to manoeuvre, being a big cleaner. Mine is a newer one with the EU reduced wattage motor, mine is 1500w

I have the Miele upright, it is okay, but it's a big heavy machine. It cost me a lot of money.
