    Hoover Model 29 help

It’s not Bakelite The model 29 and 62 introduced Hoover to a new foray of VERY early soft plastics. It is definitely NOT BAKELITE! You need to proceed with caution before going crazy trying to remove scratches! Check your email! I’ll post a picture of my 28 nicely polished! Happy Hoovering!

    Selling Most of My Collection - 1920s / 1930s / 1940s / 1950s

McScuse me? I'm obviously only one cup of coffee into the day, am I reading this correctly?! These machines, ALL of these machines, were listed for sale on eBay. Every. Single. One. Some, I might point out, for several MONTHS! Not a single person took interest until now? It is just so amusing...

Kenmore Imperial (Bugeye) for sale on eBay (Buy it Now OBO)

You mean to say you don't know the rarity? I'd imagine there are FEWER Kenmore Imerial "bug eye" cleaners out there than the "Kirby model c" you posted on eBay last month for a starting price of $1,000.00 OBO. Pretty sure no one asked for (or wanted) your opinion. Go play "museum", and don't...

Looking for info on old Hoover Vacuum

Hoover Pixie Hoover Pixie should've had a short blue veriflex hose, crevice tool, wand, upholstery brush (as shown). Not terribly uncommon. Sold alongside the model 63 Triple Action uptight. Kind of a modified Hoover Dustette.

Hoover 61 care and maintenance request

By all means... Save the manuals! I intend to post more! As I have had no use for a scanner thus far, these are just photos of the manuals. I plan to buy a scanner in the upcoming days so my Hoover literature will be available to all. My dear friend Brandon has a fantastic website (...

    Rarest convertible in the land....

Damn good point. The lettering on that poor bag is awful! Looks like it would've been a pretty pink 65 bag!

Hoover 61 belt While a eureka rd belt will work, you could always use a genuine Hoover 44783ag...the belt designed for the pre-convertible cleaners...they use them in the lightweight commercial cleaners. They're still readily available and last forever. Here's a link to them on usavacuum.com...

This one? https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/191860500562 Marty's work is fantastic. He helped me with my first restoration! This is the most beautiful 425 I've ever seen! If I didn't already have one I'd be all over this! His work is top notch!
