I own an Electrolux Olympia and XXX. I have a Hoover model 28 and the original attachment set with box and I have a Hoover model 706. I own two Kirby Classics, one is all original and one was rebuilt. I also own a Packard model 1941 which I love the most.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
An Electrolux model G with an attachment set in good, running condition.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Watching my Grandma use the Riccar 8905.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
My first vacuum was a small Stanley shop vac that I eventually gave to a neighbor. My first vintage vacuum was an Electrolux model G which I got for free from a local vacuum shop. It ran but got terribly hot and smelled of burning.
