That is one (only one tank) of mine too.

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

Yes, the carpets part is true. The only bicker I'd have is the sebo is still faster on hard floors IME. I love the green laser on the V15 so much I put an add-on one on the sebo's parquet cleaner; the extra power from the Sebo sucks things up further away from the cleaner head, and also you can...

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

I have a V15, I like it, I use it more often than my Sebo "mains." With that said, for the umpteenth time, the V15 is not anywhere near a "mains" equivalent. Scientific data: it doesn't clean as well as the "mains" Sebo.

Maybe they're quielty coming to terms with what the 'premium' makes have known for a long time. Really hard, perhaps impossible to make a universal head perform as well as specialized/purpose built heads for the floor types.

Mom's Kirby Classic III was one of my first memories and a favorite 'toy.' Although its not just vacuums with me, its anything with wheels & a motor. :)

That is the exact same brush besides the color ( and I would assume the connector diameter) as the one that came with my Sebo.

I just counted 9 total on mine, where the 9th turns off suction altogether (idle mode or whatever they call it) In other words, 8 levels of suction + 1 level of no suction. Edit: I suppose its actually 10: starting at 'max' there are 8 positions of suction below it, and then one more at...

The generic non twister works for me on rugs, as long as I’m standing (holding) on it.

I somewhat agree, although there should be no carbon dust on the cordless units. I chose 5 years because I don't think even the staunchest Dyson supporters (sans VF...) would argue they last longer. (same logic to 10yr vac overall lifetime)

I am going on week 9 on bag 1; 2 long haired young kids, long haired wife who loves to bake (flour everywhere) and one medium (30lb/14kg) shedding dog. I think 8 bags per year for a D4 is more than a fair estimate.

I do like the little particle counter gizmo screen on my V15, but I also like how my Sebo has no screen. I suppose this is my strange and un-eloquent way of saying I don't see a need for a screen on a vacuum. Add cost and complexity for not much utility.

Ask @centralsweeper63 for details but I read it as estimates given NZ prices and a 7(?) year lifespan? In the comparison he gave Dyson lower repair costs (besides batteries & replacement machines) than a Sebo, and I think that is more than fair to Dyson, not fair (nor realistic) to Sebo. Edit...

I mean, @centralsweeper63 you even gave Dyson the benefit of the doubt on service costs. Empirically Sebo should have a much lower cost than Dyson's here, but you actually flipped it to Dyson's advantage, but the numbers still heavily favor Sebo.

Except he left out pesky little details like lifespan, repairs, etc.

its real easy to use, but you can't 'scrub' with it like you can the standard one. The wheels stop any downward pressure you want to apply to the brush.
