    Hoover senior

I have that exact twin tub, Bought it from a guy who was selling a pink 652 and a 960. He then told me about it so I bought it aswell. They all came from his mom and had spent their entire lives in a sleepy town of Fish Hoek here in Cape Town. I used the twin tub a few times until the pump...

shopvac praise the lord for it !!!

One is never more grateful for a wet/dry vacuu than when their is water were you dont need it. I bough a big 80L shopvac style machine to use around the house for chores and must admit I found it a bit to bulcky and thought I should have bought the smaller one, until our house flooded, then I...

    The new Air-Way Ultra Kleen

I'll throw my hat in the ring with a Company who treats This is a very True statement.  Like you I own a small vacuum shop, and to me its the relationships with the suppliers that really matters. Their is a Local brand that I like to sell, ( also sourced from China ) but are really well...

    The new Air-Way Ultra Kleen

@ electromatik Should we celebrate China , No and everything you say about the country themselfs is true BUT    Sorry but you are completely wrong on the quality control. The western companies have complete control over the quality of the products they import from China. They know that its...

    The new Air-Way Ultra Kleen

I always think its laughable that many collectors call Chinese manufactured machines Cheap Junk when  its the USA/European  companies that decide just how cheap and junk it is.   When I was in R&D I saw samples of machines from King clean that would make a Miele look like rubbish they were...

    A beast from the 90s!!!!!

Their is something about Hoover and their carpet lines. They just seem to give a certain freshness to the carpet. I have never seen any other brand that leaves carpet lines like a hoover does .

    A few nice vintage vacuums

The Delphine must have the biggest motor fitted to Domestic vacuum, ( not central vac) 3 stage( 3 fans ) by pass motor Its a very interesting machine. Although I prefer a Rainbow as a Vacuum cleaner the Delphine made one hectic carpet cleaning machine. I love how they integrated the pump into...

New finds vintage Columbus Carpet Saver and Electrolux B33 polisher

I have two versions of this machine. It is such a odd machine to use as it only makes contact with the carpet on its pull back stroke, lifting up when you push it forward  Some versions had a rear wheel instead of the skid plate at the back

    A few nice vintage vacuums

Some awesome machines their Tom, particularly fond of the Kenkart and the Airway. Can you imagine a modern housewife or Husband ( ) carrying that machine around the house to clean it.  I have customers telling me they need something light because their sebo x4 is to heavy to use lol

    Electrolux 400slc Carpet Shampooer

Hi Paul    I have a funny feeling that Electrocol as it was back in the day bought the rights to manufacture this machine from one of those companies.    the model Designation stopped at the 700 slc before it was given the name Nimbus    The owner of Electrocol  Wally Horn (...

I think this bissell is rare

With every  generation of vacuum collector their are machines we consider rare and valuable and those we consider junk.  In my early 40,s now I do find it odd when I hear of a bissell bagless vacuum being refered to as collectable and rare BUT I also have a very eclectic taste in vacuums, I...
