After I started looking at what needs replaced I realized I could make a temporary fix with a screw, so that will do me for right now. I do need to get a couple of the round (exhaust?) filters. 3rdGenVacGuy, I'm in the Akron area. :)

Thanks for all the information! It actually needs a button and a rivet. I'm going to take it to a couple of local vacuum repair places and see what they think. I may end up just getting a new wand. Thanks again!!!!!
