Interesting story of a lost opportunity. My best friend is an amazing guy who is brilliant in his knowledge of vacuum cleaners. However, I could not believe what my ears were hearing.... He found an awesome vaccum at a thrift store (Kirby Heritage 2) for only around $10.00 but he did not buy it...

Thank You Thank you again for the very warm welcome. I just love the Kirby 505 and the Kirby Dual Sanitronic 50. I do not yet have them in my collection but I will someday.

Thanks Dualsanitronic for the warm heartfelt welcome. I have more vacuums than any one person needs but don't we all. It is so hard to determine when the obsession began....can any of us really determine the time, place, event? I will post pic's as time allows. Thanks again.
