What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?

Browsing vacuums in the JCPenney holiday catalog during the late 80's early 90's & loitering around the rental carpet shampooers while my mom would checkout at the grocery store.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?

Have pulled apart every vacuum I've ever owned. Re-animated my dead brush vac. My convertible is currently in pieces pending a micro detail and a paint job, completed it's custom bag. Just dissasembled my new Kirby Classic 3 to clean, now back together just needs some metal polishing.
