    Looking for a new vacuum

Jack...your timing is perfect... I have multiples of a few of what you're hunting for. I do not have any JUNK. My machines are nice (I'm picky, too). Contact me if you'd like more info. In fact, I'm in the middle of photographing these right now--as I had intended to offer them up here this...

My First Riccar Is The Firt Riccar?

As others said...rebadged JetFlow. I have a Panasonic in the same colour combo as that Riccar you got. LOVE it! Really attractive and they work great, too.

Any love for Vorwerk VK117 and ET-30 powerhead?

Sam~Vorwerk are not Italian.... German manufacture, rather. Vorwerk have been around for decades, since at least the 1930s I believe.

Any love for Vorwerk VK117 and ET-30 powerhead?

I noticed there only seem to be a few die-hard Vorwerk folks up here. I'm getting ready to sell mine, and am curious if any Stateside vac fans have any interest? I neither buy nor sell on ebay, so this is going to be the only place it appears when the time comes!

Hoover Hose compatibility Dial-a-Matic to Constellation

Thanks for the input, guys. Surely appreciated! I think I'll leave the Dial-A-Matic for someone else, then.

Hoover Hose compatibility Dial-a-Matic to Constellation

In my quest for OEM hose for one of my Constellations, I came across this Dial A Matic with hose for sale. Is the aluminum bent end (for wand attachments) identical to what would have been on the Constellation? I'm presuming so. My thought was that I could buy this machine and adapt the hose...

    Hoover Concept One U3319-9 acquisition!

Although I've always wanted a Concept One (they were pricey things new when I was in my 20s!), I haven't ever really searched for one. Yesterday, while hunting 2nd hand shops for an elusive hose for one of my Constellations, THIS thing stood staring me in the face in a back corner of a room. I...

    constellation 85 questions

Photos of switch This is my model 86, immediate one after yours. I'm not completely certain, but I believe the switch missing on yours would have been the same as this one on mine. Where to find one? Keep eyes peeled up here for people selling/parting out...I have no idea if this exact...

Any Hoover experts who can pinpoint Constellation mfg. date?

Thanks Hans~ will do. I had wondered if '63 or '64 wasn't most likely....but there were a few folks swearing that '66 was it. That super short serial number makes me wonder if it wasn't among the first of the model out....

    Hoover Constellation Model 86 photos

Partial hose find! Today I picked up a Constellation 454, with its original off-white elbow connector (and non-original clear hose). Stripped all the ugly aftermarket stuff off and reconfigured with a new, closer-to-original style hose. It's still going to need an aluminum angled tube and...

Any Hoover experts who can pinpoint Constellation mfg. date?

I've hunted around in archives up here even, and still cannot figure out how to determine a date of MFG. on a Constellation. I picked up a Constellation 454 today, and I'm *fairly* certain it is 1966 model year, however it has a very short serial number (4 digits), and my 1958 model 86 has 3-4...

    Hoover Constellation Model 86 photos

Thanks all. I'll be diligent about the hunt for the proper hose...but for now--miracle of miracles, this hose actually works! It doesn't fit the Hoover telescopic wands, obviously, but meet Connie Mc Franken-Miele in the pic below. Yep--the hose from my Miele S246i/Naturelle actually does fit...

    Hoover Constellation Model 86 photos

Hi all~ Was cleaning out my storage and unboxed a forgotten item today...thought you'd like seeing pics. I stashed it away at least 15 years ago, funny what you forget about having! I sure would like to find a hose for this. I bought it without one, simply because there was no way I could...
