yep. it was falling and saved the main part. the powernozzle head separated from the handle.

I just bought this from ebay. Does anyone have one of these, so i can see where the power nozzle goes? also i broke the power nozzle head. It seems to be cast iron. Is there a glue or a way to attach it back?

the ends on mine is not painted either. the picture i posted was from ebay. i was hoping that it wouldn't be an electrolux rebuilt or lowline. not a metropolitan or any other bojack outfit. i was hoping that since the skin is exactly like the LX, a bojacker would not use the same skin.

why dry rice i do not have pets but i do not think pet hair will stop the airflow of the vacuum. this is caused when there are some fine powder[deodorizer powders] clogs the bag. use deodorizers that are chip formatted rather than powder. electrolux vacuums have cyclonic air movements inside...

if you are changing the bags frequently just drop a little dry rice in the bag it will help in regard to losing suction.

questions is this a rebuilt Electrolux? or is it made as a low price alternative to LX? i want to mention that there is no rebuilt tag present, and skin is exactly like the LX.

I just came across an electrolux model xii on ebay, but it is blue. i have seen it a couple of times and i even have bought one that is not in great shape.

someone offered me one for 800 the other day. although it was not used i passed. it is way too much for me.

that is the idea. the plastic part used to melt and would not make the connection. it has ti be bypassed

i will try to remember what the kit was. i think it connected the two terminals in the cord winder to the motor and the switch.
