This vacuum cleaner is from the 1950s. It belonged to my grandmother. Its always worked, in fact, it still does. But it was in the attic, well stored and packed. The hose, however, has been completely dried out for a long time. I still have the original one. Id like to know which one I can adapt that would be as close to the original as possible. I dont like altering the design.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
None in mind. Im just guided by the design.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
I think the best vacuum cleaner is one that works with a water tank, like the Rainbow Robot. Its the one I use most for everything, and its also very powerful.I also have an Electrolux from my mother, from the 1970s.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
The old vacuum cleaner belonged to my paternal grandmother. Its been in the attic since she died in 1980. Its always worked. I was wondering if theres a collector who could tell me the price to insure it.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Only maintenance cleaning and blowing with the compressor. I dont let the engine be damaged by excess dust.
