Hey all, My D4 makes a squeaking noise when power down it doesn't do it often. I was just wondering if this is anything to worry about? Rainbow vacuums are by far my favourite but I'm not so good when it comes to its mechanics beyond the seprator. Thank you for your thoughts

Year of manufactur? Does anyone know how to tell the year a Rainbow model D was made the serial number is 3463699. Im guess it is either 1963 or 1969. I know my SE was built in 1997 but it was easy to find on the D4 models. Thanks in advance.

Countryguy I do the the hose and the wand with original floor brush, I wish I had the rug nozzel. The hose is quite stiff though so when I do use the vacuum I use the hose from my SE

Hey everyone, Just thought I'd share my Rainbow D2. I found it on Kijiji for $30 I was amazed at the condition it was in! I'm so glad I got it I was pondering weather or not to buy it. For 45 years old it's in awesome condition and works great!

Thank you both! I found the vacuum on line,I had to clean it up a bit and change the hose, I used a rainbow hose that I have.
