    Innovation and emperor The eureka emperor, those are as rare as hens teeth. It was a 70s machine with a vertical fan, eureka wouldn't attempt that set up again until the bravo. Also the Hoover innovation failed in the states, but had great success as the turbomaster in the UK. A real power house.

    When did the first Dirt Devil arrive on the on the scene?

    First dirt devil upright. This is one of their first uprights, Powerful but flimsy. I got this baby at a yard sale about 2 years ago and gave it the treatment. It's one of my favorites because this model was a big part of my childhood:)

    Why Eureka Now Makes Awful Machines

    The victory was perhaps Eureka's last decent residential vacuum. Not my favorite but it was quiet and got the job done
