I got a Whirlpool CVR 2000 for 18$. It works pretty bad, but it does need a new belt and it would appreciate a new brushroll. It looks like a power nozzle for a canister vac, and it's only 1.9 amps!

dysons thought they were crap from the videos too. then i actually got a dc07. in those videos they sabotage the dysons by making sure the head isn't all the way on the floor. the dc07 actually cleans decently. i won't judge something by a video again.
