Hoover Constellation 1950s---like Grandma used to have!
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
A neighbour in an adjacent apartment cleaning near her door with an Electrolux XXI---and seeing the bag ejected about four feet across the floor as I was turning to my own apartment as a kid. Also my grandmother's Hoover Constellation. A kid HAD to love that one!
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Including my parents:
* GE swiveltop (1950 model)
* Electrolux Model F (parents swapped swiveltop for it)
* Electrolux Model 1205 (traded the F for it in 1973)
* Eureka upright (my first vacuum on my own in my first marriage)
* Electrolux Model L (given by a relative when the Eureka croaked)
* Rainbow Model D (bought in 1996; stolen a couple of years later)
* Hoover Wind Tunnel canister (bought in 1999; couldn't afford another Rainbow)
* Electrolux Epic 6500
