    Alternative to Dyson Zorb

<span style="font-family:Georgia"> I have never used the Dyson Zorb, so no idea what it's like. You might want to try the Host "powder", it's more or less like sawdust, but I think it's from corncobs instead. I also like the SEBO duoP as mentioned above, then again I never had trouble with...

    HOST DRY CLEAN MACHINE

Hey, Charles! I have used the Host system and I really liked it. I also like to use Capture, and I really liked duoP by SEBO. I particularly liked that there was nothing too wet, so, if my dog walked on the carpet before I vacuumed it was OK. Cheers,       -- Paulo.

Carpet "Dry Cleaning" Does anyone have any experience?

Vexorgtr: I think you will be happier with the dry cleaning powders in general, particularly that you have a central vac, than with other methods. I gave my carpet "steam cleaning" machine away to a friend a long time ago, I never used it after I got the SEBO duoP machine, even though I tend to...

Carpet "Dry Cleaning" Does anyone have any experience?

Adin (CrazyKribyDude) said: «That stuff is just good smelling powder that you grind into the carpet. Dry foam shampoo or a wet extraction done by a pro with a truck mount is the best method. Smokers buy this crap up in droves to try and mask the nasty cigarette stench. » Sorry, I think you are...

Carpet "Dry Cleaning" Does anyone have any experience?

Well, I can tell you that I've used Host, Capture and duoP in my own home. When we were lucky enough to be owned by a German Shepherd Dog for 14 years, we used to do the dry cleaning more often, at least once a year, but sometimes up to every 3 months, depending on how much mud or dirt we had...

Kirby Sentria II vs Miele Canister

Les in Utah complained about my posts. In particular, that I backpedalled. LOL. I started in this thread with "No machine is perfect", and that people should weigh the pros and cons if they are going to be keeping only one machine, and made my points from there, including, since my very first...

Kirby Sentria II vs Miele Canister

«You learn something (new) everyday unless you are really careful»          -- Tom Van Vleck, Multician «Before you say something, ask yourself, "is it True?", "is it Helpful?" and "is it Kind?" and then don't say anything unless at least 2 of the 3 answers are true.» Here's a fun tidbit...

Kirby Sentria II vs Miele Canister

Les in Utah, I am rolling on the floor laughing my ass off. Honey, suit yourself, either you read my entire post or you didn't. My neighbor's Kirby was out cleaned by her Dyson. If her husband was more knowledgeable, he would have run the Kirby again and proved her Dyson had not cleaned up...

Kirby Sentria II vs Miele Canister

Bill (VacLab) said: «Dyson Beats A Kirby, I'd Like To See That...» ROFLMAO!!! By all means, Bill, please suit yourself -- all you have to do is to show up in MA, I am pretty sure my neighbor will be more than glad to make you vacuum her living room with her Kirby and then come after you with...

Kirby Sentria II vs Miele Canister

I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubbles, but no machine is perfect. My neighbors have a Kirby and he was very pissed she bought a Dyson in 2010 or so. So she made him vacuum with the Kirby to his heart's content. When the thought the room was completely clean and nothing else would come out of the...

Thought I'd share about new Hoover Constellation model 84

Todd (RoyalFan) said: "Your gay autism is showing." @earthling177 @gregvacs28 Why I don't come to vacuumland often." Oh, Todd, everyone that knows me personally is rolling on the floor laughing out lout right now. Honey, I'm not gay, although sometimes I wish I were. Everyone and their...

Thought I'd share about new Hoover Constellation model 84

Alex asked if John has a Hoover Constellation, LOL. Alex, I would be very surprised if John doesn't have one in every color for each model released. OK, fine, *maybe* he's missing one or two colors or models, but I'm pretty sure he has a bunch of them. ;-)       -- Paulo.

Decision time on Miele - Need some help

Sorry, I'm not able to give you a definitive answer as you are talking about new models. Maybe that's something you need to test at the store. What I *can* tell you is that I have 2 Mieles, one (White Pearl, I believe, the TOL from 1997 or so), which still runs like new, BTW, the controls are...

    More airflow tests.

A friend of mine said that before saying something, one should think about it and ask oneself "Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it kind?" and not say anything unless one gets at least 2 "yes". So, with that in mind, please realize that fun as it may be, a Baird meter is not a serious instrument...
