I have a real soft spot for the original Hoover Vortex. I have 5 now in my collection. a V1500 Vortex black and white a V2000 Vortex blue and white a V2001 Vortex red a V3111 1500w blue a w2600 Whirlwind. The Blue V3111 (pictured) was in a real sorry state when I got it from my local BHF...

SO... I was lucky enough to score a box and paperwork for this model on ebay. I already had the Clic model I bought years ago. I was really happy I could add the box and paperwork to the collection, its nice to have it all complete.

What are the chances... It's typical to wait years for a vacuum and then have 3 nearly identical. Very much looking forward to the pictures of the machine for sale. eBay here we come...

z1055 Hi there, I have the Z1055 which is the 'Super' Turbo 2 not much difference in them that I know of?? Mine is filthy and very discoloured in the body, now yellow NOT white. I will be doing the same as yours, full strip down and service at some stage. Yours looks great though, well done.

I fancied something a bit differet from all the usual Dysons and other vacuums I own. I always liked the blue and chrome of this model. Sadly not the best condition, I knew this when buying but havent seen many coming up for sale so took a gamble. Bad; filter grill broken filter missing floor...

I bought this off a guy who owns a vac shop near a US army base which is how he came by it. I hope to fix it up and use it one day. Missing the bumper, roller, soleplate and flex. I also got some free boxes (which I collect for the vacuums aswell).

I'm not sure there's 5.... I thought there were 3 main variants and then Dyson mixed and matched tools, plugs etc Phone number stickers on we're also a clue

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BUY THIS DYSON DC01 STANDARD BRAND NEW IN BOX. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE ALL ITS LIFE. I HOPE YOU LIKE THE PICTURES. THE BOX HAS SLIGHT CRUMPLES AT THE BOTTOM WHERE IT WAS LEANED UP TO STORE.

dc03 filters... vintagerepairer the dc03 post motor filter has never changed design to my knowledge. similar story to the dc01/dc04 really in that the original PRE motor filters were not washable and had a limited lifespan of (12 months) i think! Then later came the dc03 washable filter. the...

The post motor... The post motor filter on this is a poly pad like the ones found glued to the post filter Lid on a dc07. I thought it would have been a h lever with the yellow cage??

Vintagerepairer Filters... Did the dc04 ever have the white Non washable H level pre motor filter?? As fitted to the dc05 Or always had the 2 part washable type?? Would it make mine a later model as the instructions are the new type also??

Ebay The cleaner was listed on eBay. I wondered if it was early or late.
