What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Of not having one that I felt did a good enough job. MY test for a vacuum is how well it picks up along the edge of something. Dyson has been the best I have used.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Have a little bit before Dyson. NOW KNOW HOW TO RESEARCH INTERNET AND COME UP WITH SHOP REPAIR MANUALS. Wanted a Dyson so bad I was saving up for one, but got my income reduced to where I gave up that dream. All 3 Dysons are second hand. I just got the DC07 for $35. Seems to work fine but unbelievably dirt packed. Still taking it apart to clean and make as new like as possible. seems the hose is stuck and won't separate from the wand and up inside the wand end the hose is tearing. Looks like someone tried to force apart as it's chunked up inside the handle where you can't see it and seems not to have hurt it. But cannot separate the wand from the hose!
