What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
My mother had a Kirby Classic III when I was a little kid. This was in the early 1980s. My grandmother had a Kirby Tradition that lasted the rest of her life. We also had a Hoover Celebrity QS green tank vacuum growing up. I remember it having so much suction that it would pull your skin into the nozzle.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I owned a Hoover Floormate Hard Floor Cleaner that I purchased in the early 2000's. It didn't take me long to realize that a bucket of hot soapy water and a mop work much better...
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I have repacked the bearing grease in my Kirby Classic 1CR. I have also taken all my Kirbys apart, cleaned, lubricated, and polished the internal workings.
