I would check for any obstructions in the hose or any ports, bagless vacs tend to clog a lot and then they sometimes whine.

DOes anyone know what happend to all the Vacuums in the Hoover Vault??? I have seen a Polishers from the vault on ebay, but was wondering what happend to the collection???
