Somewhere (not here) I saw a post that someone was claiming the Miracle Mate bags did not flow as well as the TriStar ones...I thought it sounded funny, I am pretty sure that the guys at Miracle Mate are selling the bags and filters that make their system work best.
Works Great
Thought I would follow up on this one just in case some future Vac-Addict is looking and wondering if it works. Yes, It works great.
I talked to kirbykid63 and he mentioned you can leave the latex out and just put electrical tape around the opening to help seal it. I did not...
Rich......Huge difference now!!! I thought that I could make the top but by the time I thought of it I had already made the o-ring, I wish I tried earlier because the difference is just amazing.
Is there a name I can ask for or should I just ask for The Kirby Kid (LOL)
I am on my way out the door to help my neighbor that is moving so when would be a good time to cal (or not).
Thanks....I'm Dan by the way
I am using TriStar bags (the Envirocare branded ones) but I also took a piece of cardboard and made a gasket so the lid would seal correctly. It does not feel like there is air leaking around it but it is hard to tell with the side exhaust ports blowing forward.
I received a Miracle Mate Platinum a few weeks ago and finally got to check it out the past few days and it just does not seem to have a lot of suction, I heard that Miracle Mate vacuums were supposed to be powerful but it cannot be proved with the one that I have.
All the filters and bags...
I guess I am going to try both way and see what works.
Also, is there a difference between the EnviroPure, MM or TriStar genuine, these generic bags that come in the green and white packages that I see a lot of?

twocvbloke...Sorry about that, I had the post up from a few days ago and never hit refresh before I posted...So I never saw your reply.
The one I have must not be the weaker motor.
Thank you for the information....I have also heard (read) that the MM bags get clogged (I guess that is the best way to say it) and that the Tristar bags "breath" or allow more air through so they are better when dealing with lots of fine dust. Any thoughts or comments on this?
Also, We have...
My wife and I come home from taking our Nephew out for some birthday fun and there on the doorstep was a pretty big box....In it was my new (to me) Miracle Mate vacuum, and I completely forgot to order some bags so I could take it out for a test run.
I have seen people advertise that the bags...
Using google I have found a lot of discussions about the CLX but when I look up DLX I find nothing. Why do you think this is?
Also, What are the differences between the CLX and DLX?
